The Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database

Petroleum exploration, acquisition, and exploitation is increasingly becoming a knowledge-based industry. The key to any successful upstream strategy today is obtaining relevant information and using it effectively. Since 1985, Nehring Associates has been providing such information to the upstream petroleum industry in North America.

We do so through the Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database. This database is explicitly designed and developed to promote well-informed upstream strategic decisions. The Database provides extensive data retrievals of field, reservoir, and play level information. The fields, reservoirs, and plays of the Database are, in turn, linked to producible wells through the Well Cross Reference Table of the Database. The Database is available through a license agreement or through our Basin and Play Evaluation Service.
